Dresden Cottage is located on the popular "Essex Sunshine Coast". Walton on the Naze offers the best of both worlds at all times of the year:- you will find peace and quiet close by if you want it but the area also boasts a huge variety of holiday activities to suit every possible taste. The surrounding area is a paradise for birdwatchers and there is also excellent walking and cycling here. There is an abundance of traditional village pubs with food and a host of restaurants for eating out in and near Walton. For your daily needs, Walton has an Aldi, M&S food hall, Coop and a Tesco Express, all within 5 mins walk of the cottage.

Historic towns such as Colchester and Harwich await discovery, or why not take an easy day trip into Suffolk?

perfect location for the beach

Thank you for your positive feedback. We do try to make the cottage cosy, user-friendly and comfy for guests. I travel from London to prepare the cottage myself and greet all our guests personally. The area is ideal for cycling and we keep lots of maps in the cottage with cycling and walking routes.
