Holiday Lettings was founded in 1999 with two ambitions:
1. Make it easy for travelers to find their perfect vacation rental.
2. Produce more bookings for property owners and managers.
Technology was different in 1999
Cell phones were rare and magical devices. Tablets were something you took when you had a headache.
Travel was different too
Concorde still ruled the skies and people valiantly drove to their vacations without the help of satnavs.
An internet travel business was born
We brought travelers the best selection of vacation rentals and home owners/managers the best possible marketplace for showing them off.
What started as a few rental specialists in 1999 grew to a huge team, providing traveler and owner support in multiple languages.
In 2010 we gained the backing of Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel site*. As our parent company, they brought a wealth of expertise to what we do.
In 2024 we closed direct bookings but started to showcase the best properties available to book via our network of contracted partners.
