Response from the owner
Dear Graham and Aynsley We could respond to your review point by point however due to the malicious nature we thought it best to leave future guests to decide for themselves. Future guests can either believe your malicious rant or nearly a decade of 5 star impartial reviews. We received your complaint two days into your holiday. We responded within 2 hours. We are not perfect and sometimes things don’t go to plan. Unfortunately on this occasion we were unable to rectify stated issues because these were either untrue or didn’t pertain to our property. The offer to address your concerns was declined. As you said in your review. Evidenced by the 5 star reviews written by the guests prior to your stay and also the subsequent guests 5 star reviews on TripAdvisor and other similar platforms, it is clear we pride ourselves on customer service and quality. You are correct in stating we were reluctant to receive your calls after an agreement was made. This was due to your aggressive behaviour and we felt it best to converse via email and through TripAdvisor. We took TripAdvisor’s advice and as your complaint was found to be fictitious they refused to refund their booking fee to you. We refunded your fee in full which we were not required to provide. We certainly didn’t deserve to be on the receiving end of your aggression and don’t deserve a one star review. We refute your review in totality.
